Over the years I have noticed a pattern that indicates I have assigned certain songs to certain redundant tasks. I have had some success in limiting the earworm by listening to music I don't like, such as rap. The low volume songs, in the background, effectively block the monotonous tune playing in my head. One drawback to this solution is my earworm selections now include such songs as, "Baby Got Back" and "Imma Bee." Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
